Collection: Beaver Hides

Our beaver hides are tanned by the top hide tannery in the nation, providing you with a professional, premium quality tan that will last decades. These beaver hides have extremely soft and pliable leather and gorgeous select quality fur. Unlike our competitors, we believe it is best that our customers know exactly what they are buying, so we provide pictures of both the fur and leather side of the beaver hides and list most pelts individually. Other companies provide an image of just the fur side (hiding the defects/holes in the leather) and lump them into one big lot, which means the customer will just receive one from the pile. We take the time to take pictures of each pelt.

Our beaver hides are sized by adding together the overall length and width, taking into account shrinkage from tanning. Size categories are as follows:

X-small: under 35"

Small: 35-40"

Medium: 40-45"

Large-Medium (LM): 45-50"

Large: 50-55"

XL: 55-60"

XXL: 60-65" (Considered blankets in the fur trade)

XXXL: 65-70" (Super-blankets)

XXXXL: 70"+ (Super, super-blankets)
