Raw black bear hide. Has been thoroughly fleshed, dried, and fur washed of most dirt and blood. ~36" wide x 48" long. Late spring fur. Much of under fur is shed out leaving longer guardhairs. Fur is 1" - 3" length; most fur is 2" length. Hide is NOT tanned, making the fur desirable by many fly tiers. Skin would make great leather or raw hide. Has IDFG pelt tag attached. Beautiful brown to gold in color.
