Raw black bear hide. Has been thoroughly fleshed, dried, and fur washed of most dirt and blood. ~36" wide x 60" long. Big bear. Good symmetrical shape. Early fall fur - slightly weak on sides of belly. 2" - 3" fur on most of hide; shortest fur is ~1" length. #1 quality hide except for one ~3/4" hole in the leather - please see pictures. Hide is NOT tanned, making the fur desirable by many fly tiers. Skin would make great leather or raw hide. Has IDFG pelt tag attached. Nice black color.
