Idaho Rocky Mountain bull (male) elk skull. ~15" in length. Upper skull only. Naturally nature cleaned within the mountains of Idaho. This skull is from a subadult elk. This male elk was approximately 15 months old at time of death. Spike antlers were just growing at time of death - have been eaten off by the wolf pack that killed it. Has other various predator bite marks throughout - see pictures. The rear-most molars are still dropping in. Has both tusks (ivories) intact. Great for nature displays, flower gardens, hobbit type exhibits, etc.
