Approximate 12" x 12" piece of elk hide. December quality hair. Taken from the rear area on a cow elk. Hair length ranges from 2" to 3". Dark to light brown to gold in color. The skin itself was tacked open and dried. Great for tying flies. This piece is not tanned. Has been washed of most dirt and blood.
