Approximate 11" x 3" piece of elk hide taken from the top of the head of a bull elk. October quality hair. Hair length ranges from 2" to 3". Dark to reddish brown color. The skin itself was tacked open and dried. Great for tying flies. This piece is not tanned. Has been washed of most dirt and blood.
