North Idaho harvested mountain lion. Open skinned to base of neck. 78" total length, 50" nose to base of tail. In tanned, non-stretched state, this cat measures 18" across center of abdomen and 27" belly circumference just ahead of hind hips. Heavier January quality fur. Medium brown in color with tones of red. Suitable for life-size mounts or rugging. Would be especially ideal for a soft mount!!! Has feet, NO CLAWS, tail, ears turned, lips split, nice eyes, etc. Claws have been removed in a methodical way (no just hacked out) so that the smallest holes possible remain to be stitched shut for a mount without claws or to be fitted with artificial claws. Has roughly six 3/4" and smaller holes throughout main body of hide and a 1/2" scar from fighting beside nose - all easily repairable. If not used for taxidermy purposes, this is an exceptional hide for children's exhibits (fingers wont get cut by claws), craft projects, dancing skin, etc.
