
North Idaho harvested tom mountain lion. Open skinned to base of neck. 85" total length, 56" nose to base of tail. In tanned, non-stretched state, this cat measures 19" across center of abdomen and 30" belly circumference just ahead of hind hips. Heavy February quality fur. Paler brown in color. Has feet and claws, ears turned, lips split, etc. Genitalia is attached. Suitable for rugging, life size mounting, or soft mounting. Both dew claws on front feet are slightly damaged from the tannery and will require minimal sanding if desired by the taxidermist. Has a 1" hole in right rear leg from fish and game pelt tag. Has a 1" knife cut at the tip of the right ear separating the skin from the cartilage (easily repairable), a 2" and 3" exit bullet holes in front left shoulder, 1/2" bullet hole behind right shoulder, and a 1/2" hole just ahead of tail on side of back. All holes are repairable. Has a 3/8" scratch mark from fighting other toms near nose. Nice whiskers with a big head!
