North Idaho tom mountain lion. Case skinned. 90" total length, 61" nose to base of tail. In tanned, non-stretched state, this cat measures 20" across center of abdomen and 30" belly circumference just ahead of hind hips. Heavy March quality fur. Medium brown in color. Has feet and claws, ears turned, lips split, etc. Genitalia is attached next to tail. Both front legs are cased skinned (not split on the underside like on other hides). This lion is a salvaged roadkill, so road rash is scattered throughout. None are super bad - can be cut out and stitched back together. Can be suitable for rugging, life size mounting, or soft mounting by a taxidermist that wouldn't mind making some repairs - would be worth it since this is such a big cat - otherwise, would make a nice specimen skin. Under side of chin has significant road rash. Both front dew claws can be repaired by light sanding; 5 of the front claws will need to be replaced; 3 rear claws need some sanding. Has two 1/2" holes in front left legskin from fish and game pelt tag. Has decent whiskers. Exceptionally large head on this cat. This cat measured just over 8 feet green.
