North Idaho harvested tom mountain lion. Open skinned to base of neck. 75" total length, 48" nose to base of tail. In tanned, non-stretched state, this cat measures 16" across center of abdomen and 36" belly circumference just ahead of hind hips. Heavier February quality fur. Paler brown in color. Nice white belly fur. Has feet and claws, ears turned, lips split, etc. Suitable for rugging, life size mounting, or soft mounting. Both dew claws on front feet are slightly damaged from the tannery and will require minimal sanding if desired by the taxidermist. Has a 1.5" knife cut in front right leg from fish and game pelt tag. Has a 2.25" knife cut in center of back and a 1" bullet hole in front left shoulder. Also has a 1/2" knife cut and a 1/4" knife cut on the underside of chin. The skin has slightly separated from the cartilage at the tip of the right ear. All of these are easy repairs. Has exceptionally nice whiskers.
