Large sized Idaho black bear skull. 10" - 10.5" in length. Nice commercial cleaning job. Most of the turbinate nasal structures were removed during cleaning. One upper right premolar was removed by the fish and game department for aging purposes. Is missing the distal tips of both pterygoid processes. This skull is from a 20+ year old bear. Has calciferous ridges and lines throughout. Incisors and molars are worn very smooth. Two of the upper left premolars are worn flush with the bone. The upper canines have rounded tips, and the lower canines are worn smooth at an angle. Would make a nice educational piece!
