X-Large Idaho skunk hide. Male. 20.5" nose to base of tail, 36" to tip of tail. Extra heavy winter fur. Nice long guard hairs on back. Thick and dense underfur. Fur is a little thin on belly and slightly bare on the inside of three of the legs. Good wide white stripes for an Idaho skunk that extend the full length of the back; stripes have a slight yellow hue to them. Tail is somewhat thin with two 2"x1" bare areas just below base of tail. Has two 1"x1" bare areas in lower back region. Has a 1" x 1/2" bare area on top of neck/shoulder area. These bare areas are mostly covered by the exceedingly dense fur. Has feet, claws, ears turned, lips split, etc. Has complete genitalia. Very nice and long claws on this skunk. This skunk would be graded as taxidermy quality if it were not for the bare areas and the thin tail. Otherwise, it is a nice pelt that still can be mounted by a skilled taxidermist.
