Idaho origin. Case skinned. Female river otter with feet and claws attached. Ears were not turned during preparation but ears have no evident slippage. Suitable for rug, life-size, or soft mounting. #1 select quality heavy winter fur. Leather has a few minor defects including a 1" length slit in the front left legskin from fish and game CITES tag and a 1/4" slit in the lower lip. 45" total length, tip of nose to tip of tail; 29" tip of nose to base of tail. This otter was dried on a wooden fur stretcher prior to tanning so it holds that presentable shape. Exceptionally nice pelt! Has an off-silver colored throat. Nice dark color overall.
