Idaho origin. Case skinned. Male river otter with feet and claws attached. Ears were not turned during preparation but ears have no evident slippage. Has partial genitalia attached. Suitable for rug, life-size, or soft mounting. #1 select quality heavy winter fur. Leather has a minor defect including a 1" diameter hole in the rear left legskin from fish and game CITES tag. The left eyehole is very, very slightly enlarged. 55" total length, tip of nose to tip of tail; 36" tip of nose to base of tail. This otter was dried on a wooden fur stretcher prior to tanning so it holds that presentable shape. Exceptionally nice pelt! Has a decent silver colored throat. Brownish color.
