XX-Large sized Idaho river otter skull. 4.5" - 4.75" in length. BEETLE cleaned, degreased, and whitened. Turbinate nasal structures are intact and undamaged. Both pterygoid processes are attached. All four canines, most of the incisors, and most of the premolars and molars have worn tips from biting on freshwater mussel shells, a major part of the otter's diet. The lower right P3 premolar is absent and has naturally filled in with calciferous deposits. Both upper P1s are broke off as well as the upper left P2. This skull is of an older animal with calciferous bumps and ridges all over the top of the skull. Nice skull that is bright white!
