River otter have perhaps the most durable and dense fur out of any species. They often have strong, heavier type leather making them desirable for many purposes. Our otter hides are professionally tanned to last decades when properly cared for. Please note: if we deem a hide suitable for taxidermy purposes, we will put this in the item description.
