Raw black bear hide. Has been thoroughly fleshed, dried, and fur washed of most dirt and blood. Has tail attached. ~30" wide (measured across center of abdomen) x 50" long (neck to base of tail). Summer quality fur. Significantly rubbed throughout - hair is short on most of hide. Longest fur is ~2" in neck/shoulder area. Has a narrow dorsal strip of ~1.5" fur running down the length of back. Fur has unique color phases throughout. Hide is NOT tanned, making the fur desirable by many fly tiers. Skin would make great leather. Has some small holes in leather - please see photos. Has IDFG pelt tag attached.
